Table Thai Massage
Table Thai massage is an ancient form of bodywork that focuses on energy lines, known as "sen," and aims to bring the body into balance and harmony. Rooted in traditional Thai medicine and has been practiced for centuries.
This form of massage is typically performed on a padded mat or a massage table. During a table Thai massage session, the client remains fully clothed and lies on their back, stomach, or side, depending on the specific technique being used. The massage therapist uses their hands, elbows, knees, and feet to apply pressure to specific points on the body, while also guiding the client through a series of stretches. It is a soothing and invigorating experience that combines stretching, acupressure, and deep tissue massage techniques, helping to improve flexibility and range of motion, as well as to improve circulation and energy flow throughout the body enhancing the body's overall well-being.
This type of massage can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, and it is often used as a form of therapy for individuals suffering from chronic pain or injury. While Thai massage can be beneficial for many individuals, it may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions or injuries. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional before seeking out Thai massage therapy to ensure that it is safe and appropriate for your specific needs.
Reiki
Reiki is a holistic practice that focuses on harmonizing an individual's energy to achieve a state of alignment and balance. This technique involves the channeling of universal life force energy, which is believed to promote healing and well-being by clearing blockages and restoring the natural flow of energy within the body. Practitioners of Reiki aim to facilitate a deep sense of relaxation and tranquility, allowing individuals to connect with their inner selves and enhance their overall physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
Through gentle touch or the placement of hands near the body, Reiki sessions can help individuals release stress, alleviate pain, and foster a greater sense of peace and balance in their lives. Overall, Reiki is a gentle and non-invasive practice that aims to restore balance and harmony to the body, mind, and spirit. It is used by individuals seeking holistic approaches to wellness and relaxation.
